What We Do
We hire transitioning veterans looking to succeed in a career outside of the military. We partner with companies who recognize and value the integrity and character that veterans have honed in service and bring with them to their next role. We don’t just place employees in chairs, we work on developing our team member’s job competence and professional confidence with individualized mentoring and training. We help them to strengthen and build their core competencies, ensuring they have the values and leverage to help them succeed both personally and professionally in their new careers.

Alex - President & Founder
Alex is a USAF veteran with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy.
Christopher Lais - Mission Manager
Christopher A. Lais (Chief Master Sergeant, USAF Reserves) is responsible for the development and success of our veterans here at Persevus. Prior to joining Persevus, Chris was Chief Enlisted Manager and acting First Sergeant of the 308th Rescue Squadron, Patrick AFB, Florida. He served as the principal advisor to the commander on enlisted leadership for organizing, training, equipping and maintaining the group’s rescue forces ensuring unit readiness for worldwide deployments in support of combatant commands. He has served in Operations Enduring Freedom, Inherent Resolve, and Combined Joint Task Force Operations Horn of Africa. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Emergency and Disaster Management, as well as a Master’s Degree in Homeland Security.
Alice - Human Resources and Recruiting Coordinator
Alice works closely with our team members, managing everything from travel arrangements to payroll and onboarding. She holds an Associates degree in Accounting and Finance, and has over 10 years experience in supporting business operations. Alice loves to spend her free time having fun and learning with her kids, reading Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Mystery novels, or playing games on her computer with her husband.
Lesa Hammond - Advisor
Lesa has more than 25 years in the field of human resources, and has been the chief human resources officer for three universities and the program director of two business training divisions. Her expertise includes running a national consulting company where she subcontracted others to provide training and consulting services. Lesa received a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University. While serving in the United States Air Force, she received a masters degree in Human Resources with an emphasis in Organizational Development from Golden Gate University. She also holds a Ph.D. in Transformative Learning and Change from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
